Democratic pedagogy is when research transforms. Transformational research is the fluid renovation of academic research when partnered with the environment, time, tools, cultural investment, economic investment, and content. Its purpose is to find meaning ‘on the go’ and not be content with the way things have always been. This thinking creates an opening to understand that theory and practice are interconnected and reliant on each other. We cannot do one without the other.  This 1 hour video will provide an example of a Kindergarten project demonstrating the intentionality of using democratic pedagogical strategies.
